This weekend was a double header weekend for me. I was able to photograph this amazing wedding and then head to do my Bridesmaid duty the next day and witness a dear friend of mine say, I do! This weekend was filled with soo much love and it was one of my favorite weekends! I couldn’t have picked a more perfect couple to kick start this particular weekend with than Kathryn and Adam. I wish I had kept count of all of the times I looked at Kathryn and Adam’s wedding day and said “Gosh, they are just the sweetest!”. They truly are the sweetest couple you’ll ever meet. I loved Kathryn from the moment we spoke on the phone. You can say I had her at Hello! haha I am so thankful that she picked me to photograph her wedding.
I loved getting to know them at their engagement session and I was looking forward to their wedding day. Kathryn had this vision on what she wanted her day to be like and all the details she had in mind were so fun and unique. To see all the tiny details come to life and they were actually even more beautiful then I had imagined. I actually walked away from their wedding telling everyone that I want this venue and every detail for my own wedding. It was definitely gorgeous so well put together. Between the Vineyard and the GORGEOUS VIEW this wedding was a DREAM! I kept yelling from behind my camera “I’m in heaven you guys! This is photography heaven!!”. It was true! You’ll see what I mean in a minute!
Kathryn and Adam’s love for one other is the kind of love that makes you want to go and hug your husband or significant other and tell them you love them. 🙂 It’s radiant and it’s so genuine. Photographing their wedding day made me fall in love with my job all over again! The cute thing was right before we did their first look I looked at Adam and said, Kathryn looks beautiful! His response…….she always looks beautiful! Dawwww! I was a bit weepy all day on multiple occasions especially during the toast this wedding was by far amazing!
Their Story:
How did you meet: Internet-OkCupid
The Proposal: We went to Baltimore for the weekend. Adam planned on taking Kathryn to have breakfast with penguins at the Baltimore Zoo on Saturday morning. Friday night Adam took Kathryn out to dinner and she did not suspect anything. As they were walking back to the hotel, along the water at the Inner Harbor, Adam stopped and dropped to one knee and asked.
