Ahhh where do I begin with these guys! Shannon and Chris are both from Maryland but work and life brought them to Chicago after reconnecting and falling in love there work moved them to New York.  After that the two were engaged and are getting married later this year. Their story is one for the books!

When Shannon and Chris first contacted me about photographing their wedding at Dulany’s overlook this fall I knew they were going to be an awesome couple.  It’s hard to tell when you do a phone consult if you are going to click or not but since they live in New York it’s hard to meet in person.   We instantly connected it was seriously like chatting with old friends I just loved them! I was bummed when I had to tell them that I was booked for partial of their day.   I am lucky that I have awesome brides and amazing photographers who work by my side (Raiza my rockstar friend and amazing photographer) and after rearranging some logistics they were able to book me and I literally did a happy dance!

When we finally met in DC for our engagement session.  Shannon and Chris wanted to do a fun session at a brewery so she contacted Bluejacket DC about doing our session there.  If you have not taken a trip down to check out Bluejacket DC I highly recommend! Amazing staff and delicious beer it’s a DC must! We ventured over to Meridian Hill Park next and it was rare that it snows in March but this year we got our last snow storm right before our session.  The snow really made the park look magical and Shannon rocked her red dress! I seriously can not wait for their wedding in November it’s going to be filled with so much love and laughter.  Cheers guys!
