Sarah and Brett were such a stunning couple and so sweet.  I really am super lucky with all my clients.  Sarah and Brett booked me for their wedding about a year ago, without even meeting me in person or speaking with me on the phone before they decided they wanted to work together. This complete trust and faith in my work meant so much to me and even more to me on their wedding day.  I really wanted their day to be perfect even though we woke up to rain due to the hurricane in the area but I was determined to give them the best photos anyway.  The girls got ready in a beautiful penthouse suite at The DuPont Circle Hotel. I was able to spend a couple of hours with the girls as they got ready and everyone was so incredibly welcoming. When we arrived at the Meridian House we ended up moving the ceremony next door to the White Mayer House which allowed us to take some beautiful portraits under the portico so they would stay dry during the rain.  After the ceremony the skies cleared for us and we were able to get some portraits outside.  Then it was a night of dancing to a live band! 

It was such an elegant celebration, thanks to Elizabeth Duncan, the incredible team at Elizabeth Duncan Events, who pulled everything together flawlessly and made my job so incredibly easy. Sarah + Brett – Thank you again for having me there to document your day! Wishing you both all the best!
